In summary:
- Apple launched its Creator Suite on January 28, bundling professional apps with new features, which Macworld suggests may hint at upcoming M5 Pro and Max MacBook Pro models.
- The timing aligns with Apple’s typical Tuesday-Wednesday product launch schedule and targets the same creative professional audience as MacBook Pro.
- New M5 MacBook Pro models are expected to launch around this timeframe, potentially capitalizing on the Creator Suite marketing opportunity.
Apple has a big year of product releases planned, and the company kicked it all off by announcing the Apple Creator Suite. Okay, technically, Creator Suite isn’t a new product, if you consider that all of the products in the suite have been available for years. But the apps have new features, and the bundle itself is new (and a pretty good deal, if you ask me). Apple Creator Suite will be available on January 28.
In any case, Apple has opened the gates to its product releases, so what else might be coming through? Well, how about the M5 Pro and Max MacBook Pro? I’m purely speculating here, but Creator Suite and the MacBook Pro have the same professional target audience. In other words, MacBook users are users of the apps in the Creator Suite. It seems like a perfect marketing opportunity to tie them together.
Reports have said that Apple could release the new MacBook Pro models in the early part of this year. To add more to the speculation: January 28 is a Wednesday, and Apple often releases new products on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It seems to be an ideal setup.
I’m no marketing expert, but anyone can put 2 and 2 together. I’ll be keeping an eye out between now and January 28 for the new laptops. In the meantime, you can catch up on all the laptop rumors in our M5 Pro and Max MacBook Pro superguide.
